HISTORY
Bharathidasan Institute of Management was set up in the year 1984, as a result of the vision of Shri. C.Subramanian and Prof. P.S.Mani Sundaram, the Vice-Chancellor of Bharathidasan University. Housed inside the campus of the industrial giant BHEL, it is the country’s first management institute to have a interactive relationship with the industry in all aspects, right from its location to its activities.
BIM, as one of the leading management institutes of the country, offers one of the most coveted MBA programs in India. Its spectrum of students covers people from varied educational backgrounds, careers and cultures. Admission, governed by a rigorous procedure, covers an annual intake is 120 students, who share an appetite for learning and an ability to excel.
