Cheju National University is the smallest one among 10 major national universities in Korea along with Seoul National University, Pusan National University Kyungpook National University, Chonnam National University, Chungnam National University, Chonbuk National University, Gyeongsang National University, Chungbuk National University, and Kangwon National University. The campus is situated in Jeju City, the provincial capital. There are more than 400 instructors. About 3,000 first-year students are admitted each year. In addition, a graduate enrollment of around 600 is carried.
