The City University of Hong Kong (CityU) (Traditional Chinese: 香港城市大學) is one of the eight universities in Hong Kong. The university motto is "敬業樂群 / Officium et Civitas", which encapsulates an education philosophy that emphasizes both academic professionalism and an individual's responsibility to society.
The university has a community of more than 12,000 undergraduates and 3,000 postgraduates. International students account for around 5% of the student population.
