The Melbourne Business School (MBS) is a graduate business school in Melbourne, Australia. The school first awarded the Master of Business Administration degree in 1963 and now offers the following degree programs:

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) (full-time and part-time)
  • Executive MBA (EMBA); i.e. MBA for Senior Managers
  • Juris Doctor/MBA (JD/MBA)
  • Master of Marketing
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Management
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Management (Marketing)
  • Graduate Certificate in Innovation Management

The school is 45% owned by the University of Melbourne, and 55% owned by Australian businesses, and operates as an independent unit of the University in its own facility close to the main campus Carlton. In 2004, MBS merged with Mt. Eliza Business School.

The school has been ranked in the Top 100 Global MBAs and as the top business in school in Australia by the Financial Times in 2005, 2006, and 2007.
