| The Brandeis International Business School (IBS) at Brandeis University was founded in 1994. Its teaching and research are focused on the global economy. Originally known as the Graduate School of International Economics and Finance, the school has expanded its expertise to encompass all aspects of international business and economic interdependence. Its parent institution is Brandeis University, a private research university established in 1948. IBS is located in two buildings: the Sachar International Center (1973) and the Lemberg Academic Center (2003). Its founding dean is Peter A. Petri, and current acting dean is F.
